Brantford home to Clampco North America Ltd. 

BRANTFORD — Clampco Products, Inc., a Wadsworth, Ohio, based manufacturer of stainless steel band clamps and couplings, has chosen Brantford as the location for its newly-launched business affiliate: Clampco North America Ltd.

The company is leasing 20,000 square feet of space at 35 Henry Street, to manufacture a new line of stainless steel worm drive clamps. By adding worm drive clamps to its product line, Clampco offers the broadest range of products in the industry.

Nick Marusich, Vice President of Operations at Clampco North America Ltd., says, “We are excited and look forward to the opening of our plant in Brantford, Ontario. The facility is situated close to all suppliers and major highways and is set up to produce worm drive clamps using the ‘just in time’ process. The clamps will be manufactured to the highest SAE standards. Our employees will be empowered to facilitate the intended QS process and will then graduate to the TS quality system.”

Within the next six months, Marusich expects the business will be running two shifts, employing 35-40 people and producing 100,000 clamps a day.
